On September 8th, The School of Materials Science and Engineering held international talks online. Participants included Prof. Bhekie Mamba, Prof. Xinying Liu, Prof. Zenghui Wang, Ning Zhang, Prof. Jianxin Li, Prof. Yi Huang and Prof. Zhongyong Yuan. Prof. Bhekie Mamba has been the Executive Dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, University of South Africa since January 2017.
During the talks, Prof. Mamba first introduced the information of the University of South Africa and talked with Ning Zhang, the deputy director of the Exchange Office, for cooperation between Nankai University and the University of South Africa. Second, Prof. Bhekie Mamba presented an academic report entitled “Photothermal vapor pressure generation for ultrafiltration of surface water in rural communities”. The harmonious academic atmosphere of the talks deepened the mutual understanding and provided new ideas for collaboration between our college and other overseas universities. (By Danhong Wang)
