The 6th Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Clean Energy Forum has recently been held in Xiongxian County, Hebei Province. Honorary Chairman of the forum, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Researcher of Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences Chen Liquan, Chairman of the forum and Professor of Beijing Institute of Technology Wu Feng attended the forum and made speeches. This is also the first time that Tianjin Universities (Nankai University and Tianjin University) organize the academic forum in Xiong’an New Area. Researcher of Nankai University’s School of Materials Science and Engineering Gao Xueping chaired the organizing committee of the forum.
The forum aims at coordinating with the new material team undertaking CAE’s “Research on the Industrial Development Strategy in Xiong’an New Area” Project and CAE’s major consultative project “Research on the Development Strategy of Material Science and Systematic Engineering—Chinese Materials Genome Initiative”.
