Yi Huang, Dr., professor, doctoral tutor, associate dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Director of Carbon Nanomaterials Research Center, 2020 Tianjin Innovative Talents Promotion Plan for Young and Middle-aged Science and Technology Innovation Leaders.

Mainly engaged in the research of carbon nanomaterials, electromagnetic functional materials, polymer smart materials and devices. 

Undertaken more than ten projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 973, 863, international cooperation, national defense, and Tianjin, etc. in recent years.

Won the second prize of National Natural Science Award (R3) in 2018, the first prize of Tianjin Natural Science Award (2015, 2010), the third prize of Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award, and the first prize of Chengdu Science and Technology Progress Award.

More than 110 academic papers were published  in Nat. Photonics, Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., Nano Lett., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., and other journals, including more than 60 papers with IF > 6, 22 ESI highly cited papers, more than 21,000 times other-citations, and H factor of 52.

Selected as a Global Highly Cited Scientist by Clarivate Analytics in 2018-2020.

More than 20 patents were applied and 10 have been authorized. 2 papers were selected as China's 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers, and the research results have been publicized and reported by important international journals and media as highlights for many times, including C&E News of the American Chemical Society, Nature China and Asia Materials of Nature Publishing Group, Materials Views and Materials Views China of Wiley Group, etc.
